The BCPNP Extends Invitations to 197 Skilled Candidates

On December 12, 2023, the British Columbia government conducted new invitation rounds within the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP), offering invitations to qualified candidates in key sectors like healthcare, childcare, construction, and other priority occupations. In the general draw, 73 candidates received invitations, with minimum scores ranging from 95 to 116 points.

BC issued 61 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the childcare-targeted draw, specifically for early childhood educators (NOC 42202). In the Healthcare-targeted draw, British Columbia invited 27 candidates scoring 60 points. Additionally, 27 candidates employed in the construction sector were invited.

Moreover, up to five invitations were extended for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104). In total, British Columbia issued a maximum of 197 ITAs in this draw. In the current year, the province has already invited 9,920 candidates.
