CLIENT: APJ
INDUSTRY: Sports Technology
The Challenge
APJ, a proactive company with a focus on sports education and training, was ready to launch a significant technological development in their new mobile application to change the way athletes train. Upon the sports master mentioned above, APJ developed an app that targets an athlete's specific training plans, nutrition, psycho-emotional support, and also tracks physical performance in real-time. APJ wanted to expand its use of the app to Canadian athletes which meant developing a comprehensive plan for market entry, regulatory support, and financial sustenance.
Our Strategy
With the help of CBGA, APJ received strategic support for entry in Canada through the mobilization of its app. We began by leading and supporting APJ in the complex process of obtaining the crucial documentation needed for a Letter of Support in accordance with Canada’s immigration Start-up Visa program and ensured an easy path to market entry.
While providing immigration support, we collaborated with APJ to establish a solid marketing plan for entry in the Canadian Sports and Fitness Industry. We enabled the development of partnerships with key persons and organizations in the sports industry to provide APJ with a solid market entry presence.
At the same time we provided guidance around resource management and financial planning to help ensure the app's long-term sustainability and growth in a crowded marketplace.
The Solution
CBGA was able to support APJ's strategic goals by attracting partners and shareholders, and preparing critical regulatory documents, including shareholder agreements. We managed all aspects of the regulatory process, so APJ could focus on developing their app and growing their business while we managed compliance and the legal framework.
Impact and Results
Today, APJ has successfully launched their innovative sports training app to the Canadian market, offering athletes comprehensive, personal training support. With CBGA's support, the company has established strong partnerships, secured critical documents, and has a platform from which to build sustainable growth. APJ has already positioned itself as a leader in the sports technology landscape and is improving the training and performance of athletes around the world.
Our work with APJ demonstrates the power of combining strategic business planning, compliance, and market relevant knowledge for standing in results.
