CLIENT: 4Blind
INDUSTRY: Assistive Technology
The Challenge
4Blind, an innovative company that creates assistive technologies for individuals with visual and auditory disabilities, needed to implement a go-to-market plan for North America. The company had some very unique products that empower people by providing more access to information and communication but the plan to enter Canada and the USA required a go-to-market strategy. In addition, building partnerships and a distribution network to reach a larger audience was important in reaching people who could benefit from life-changing technology.
Our Approach
CBGA teamed with 4Blind to develop a complete market-entry strategy based on our knowledge and work in the Canadian and U.S. markets. We identified key stakeholders within the industries, and partnered 4Blind with national partners, assisting the company with more solidifying their distribution channels.
CBGA also helped the company with over $1 million in awarded grants to engage 4Blind's growth and innovation. The capital provided not only allowed the company to grow their operation, but it also allowed 4Blind to invest further in research and development. CBGA went on to offer some strategy around participating in trade shows and industry events to show their products to potential partners and customers.
The Solution
CBGA's assistance extended beyond strategic planning. We partnered with 4Blind to establish an effective distribution network by connecting them to appropriate distributors in Canada and the US. Our team ensured that by preparing the company for important industry events and engaging key audiences, 4Blind's innovative items were presented to appropriate audiences and stakeholders. This has increased their brand recognition and captivated interests from consumers and partners.
Impact and Results
Currently, 4Blind has expanded in North America, developing, producing and selling products that affect the lives of people with disabilities. Together with CBGA, they have constructed a robust distribution network, acquired funding to spur ongoing innovation. 4Blind is on a mission to make the world more accessible and is now providing multiple markets with products that improve lives for the better.
